Day 1 - Arrival → Dambulla
Dambulla
Famous for the Golden Temple of Dambulla, this site features five ancient caves filled with statues and murals. You’ll be immersed in Buddhist culture and Sri Lankan history. Nearby, you can visit local markets and experience village life.
Day 2 - Dambulla → Sigiriya → Kandy
Sigiriya
Join this Sigiriya Village Tour for an unforgettable journey into the heart of nature and the authentic culture of a traditional Sri Lankan village. Your adventure begins with a peaceful bullock cart ride along the scenic lake. From there, you’ll enjoy a catamaran boat ride across to the other side of the village. A gentle walk through lush paddy fields and vibrant vegetable gardens will lead you to the village itself. At a local home, a friendly village lady will demonstrate the art of traditional Sri Lankan cooking. Finally, sit back, relax, and savor a delicious Sri Lankan lunch or snack prepared with care.
Kandy
In the evening, head to Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth, and relax by Kandy Lake. Enjoy shopping for gems, batik, and traditional crafts.
Day 3 - Kandy → Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya
Known as “Little England,” Nuwara Eliya features colonial buildings, tea plantations, and cool climate. Visit Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, and take a tour of a tea factory like Pedro Tea Estate. Don’t miss the stunning views at Lover’s Leap waterfall.
Day 4 - Nuwara Eliya → Ella
Ella
Enjoy the train ride from Nuwara Eliya (Nanu Oya station) to Ella — a breathtaking journey through hills, tea fields, and tunnels. In Ella, hike Little Adam’s Peak, visit Nine Arches Bridge, and relax in a café with a view.
Day 5 - Ella → Yala → Colombo
Yala National Park
Early morning, head to Yala National Park for a safari adventure. Spot leopards, elephants, deer, and wild boars. It’s the most famous park for leopard sightings.
After your safari, begin your return journey to Colombo.

- Transport:Private car with a driver is most convenient. Trains between Ella–Kandy–Nuwara Eliya are scenic and comfortable.
